The Chairman and Committee were re-elected for another term at the AGM after agreeing to continue in the absence of applicants to serve.  Unfortunately, the lack of volunteers was the result of an administrative error.  The calling notice for the AGM should have invited members to apply to serve on the Committee.  As the entire Committee and Chairman had reached the end of a term of office, under the constitution applicants to serve should have been invited to apply.  

One option would have been to cancel the AGM and reschedule for later in the year. However, the extra workload and delay to the other business made that undesirable. The AGM was therefore held as planned and a re-election proposal went forward as the Chairman and Committee had all agreed to accept another term of office in the absence of applicants.  Your Committee currently comprises: Ambrose Barber, Ken Batstone, Richard Cannon, David Collingridge, Diana Dean, David Hassard, Kieron Kirk, Dick Poole, David Priddy, Frank Rainsborough, Paul Rash, Chris Roberts and Colin Wilson.
